PREDICT uses an algorithm based on information from many thousands of women in England. However, it can only provide a general guide to possible outcomes in any individual case. As we are all different, for the more complete picture in your case, you should speak to your own specialist.
The model has been tested on nearly 10,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer in England and the theory and results have been subjected to open academic peer review in the journals Breast Cancer Research, the European Journal of Surgical Oncology and the British Journal of Cancer. Every effort has been made to ensure that the data used is accurate, the statistical procedures sound and the computer algorithm robust.
